OUR BELIEFS

The Bible

We believe the entire bible.

The Bible is the Word of God for all humanity. Human men supernaturally wrote the sacred texts as they were divinely instructed by the Holy Ghost (Spirit). 2 Peter 1:25

The Bible is truth; incapable of error.

2 Peter 1:19; 2Timothy 3:16

The Bible is powerful, ancient; yet ageless, and it remains forever relevant for our daily living experiences. 1 Peter 1:25, Hebrews 4:12, Proverbs 3:6

God

There is but one God - creator of the entire universe; revealed to us as Father, in creation, Son, in redemption, and Holy Spirit, (God indwelling in the believer). Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 44:24; Isaiah 45:5-12, Isaiah 46:9

Jesus

Jesus was God manifested (revealed) in the flesh. 1Timothy 3:16

Jesus was Fully Man and Fully God. Luke 2:7, Micah 5:2; Luke 2:52, Hebrews 16:8; Philippians 2:7-8, Revelation 19:16

Jesus is the Word made flesh. John 1,14

In Him dwells all the fullness of the God-head bodily. Colossians 2:9-10

The express image of the invisible God. Colossians 1:15

The only name given under heaven for the salvation of mankind. Acts 4:12

Salvation

We cannot of our own volition, or intellect save ourselves from the inherent nature of sin transferred to all mankind through Adam…

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” (Romans 5:12-21)

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23)

“O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from this body of death?” (Romans 7:24 NIV)

So, then, deliverance from sin is by grace through faith in Christ Jesus…

“For by grace are ye saved through faith and not of yourselves; it is the gift of God-Not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12)

When the question was asked of Peter, on the Day of Pentecost, What do we need to do brothers? Peter stood before the crowd and declared, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:38)

“And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved” (Acts 2:47)

“Those who believed the Word followed Peter’s instruction, 3,000 souls experienced the infilling of the Holy Ghost and were added to the church that day (Acts 2:42)
And so we believe…

A Future Coming Attraction

The Rapture - the catching away of the church!

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first; Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17
